APSA’s Hygiene Workshop. The Association of Psychology Students of Ateneo (APSA) with their (13) members, conducted Hygiene Workshop at Barangay San Roque, Canaman, last February 15, 2020. They were able to teach the importance of proper handwashing and sanitizing of hands, story-telling, games, distributed kits, and fed (60) children beneficiaries.

ANSA’s Xavier Outreach Program. In celebration of the feast day of St. Francis Xavier, the Ateneo Nursing Students’ Association (51) members, and faculty, with their aim to raise awareness on certain health issues and to improve the way of life of the residents in the community held the lecture on Sanitation (Waste Management) and HIV Awareness to (62) beneficiaries from held at Ateneo de Naga University Bagumbayan Campus.

PCSKV’s Gender Week at Hablon Dawani. To promote a sense of belongings to people who were victims of abuses, inequality or discrimination, the PCSKV held its Gender Week: Strengthening Respect for Gender Diversity outreach activity last December 20, 2019, at Hablon Dawani Integrated Services for Girls and Women in Crises Inc. at Greenfield, Peñafrancia, Naga City.  With their (10) member and moderator, they were able to conduct their culminating activity, games, gift giving, and snacks for (7) beneficiaries.

APSA’s Christmas Party for the Maintenance and Staff and Workers of ADNU. On December 18, 2019, at the Ateneo de Naga University’s Arrupe Convention Hall, the Association of Psychology Students of Ateneo (APSA) with their aim to enhance the social ability of their members conducted their outreach activity for the maintenance staff and workers to give appreciation and gratitude to their service they have bestowed to the university community. For the spirit of giving back during the Christmas season, interactive games, raffle, and dinner for the (82) beneficiaries and (33) APSA members.

ANSA: Gift Giving Xavier Outreach. The Ateneo Nursing Students’ Association (62) members and faculty, with their aim to continue their annual gift-giving and reverse caroling at the Bicol Medical Center, held their outreach activity in celebration of the feast day of St. Francis Xavier last December 11, 2019. With their aim to uphold the Christmas spirit, they were able to serenade with Christmas songs, give small tokens, gifts, and healthy snacks to (150) patient beneficiaries from Phil Health 1 and II, Emergency and Dialysis areas.

LEAP: Kiddie Christmas Party.  In honor of the feast of St. Francis Xavier and with the recent calamity that struck the province of Camarines Sur last Dec 2-3, 2019 that cause severe damaged to far-flung communities the (21) member from Liga ng mga Estudyante sa Agham Panlipunan and Economics Society (LEAP) and (13) Social Science Faculty last December 21, 2019, invited (27) kid’s beneficiaries with their guardians from Brgy. Carigsa, Magarao for a Kiddie Christmas Party (Outreach Activity) at the Ateneo De Naga University and Ecological Park, San Felipe. They were able to conduct a recreational tour, Jollibee Kiddie Party, Parlor Games, gift-giving, and school supplies for the beneficiaries.

CD11: Magtarabangan Kita, Mahali ang Stigma: The SLP class CD11 conducted Empowering HIV/AIDS Prevention and Empowering the Youth Through Education workshop last November 11, 2019, at Barangay Carolina, Naga City. With their aim to encourage youth in discussing the discourse of sex, sexuality, and HIV/Aids openly; to increase the public awareness on access to involuntary HIV testing and counseling; to promote safer sex; and to prevent stigma on individuals, they were able to educate, 31 youth beneficiaries.

JABMA: Pamahaw sa Pag-Umaw. To commemorate the feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, with their aim to cater to the needs of the devotees and to express their gratitude to Ina, the organization, JABMA was able to strengthen their foundation as Christ-centered Atenean’s by conducting their Pamanhaw sa Pag-Umaw outreach activity. They were able to feed several devotees at the Peñafrancia Church.

LEAP: Illuminating Ignacian Spirituality. On August 3, 2019, in honor of the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Liga ng mga Estudyante sa Agham Panlipunan and Economics Society (LEAP) held their outreach activity at Carigsa, Magarao. With their objective to embody and transcend the Ignatian learning beyond the four corners of the classroom and spread societal awareness to Atenean students by practicing the teachings of St. Ignatius they were able to conduct art therapy, the storytelling of the life of St Ignatius, parlor games and feed (100) beneficiaries from the community. 

POEM Ignatiana Outreach 2019. The Progressive Organization of English and Literature Majors (POEM) with its (16) members and (7) LLS faculty conducted their Ignatiana Outreach last August 3, 2019, at Casuray Elementary School, Magarao. Interactive learning sessions through story-telling, puzzle-solving, math problem-solving, figures of speech, and were able to feed (366) kindergarten to Grade 6 student beneficiaries.

COES Ignatiana Outreach 2019. The Computer Engineering Society (COES) held its Ignatiana outreach activity last August 3, 2019, at Barobaybay Elementary School, Magarao. With its (40) members, with their aim to be man and women for others, they prepared fun-filled games, ice breakers, workshops that can develop children’s creativity, story-telling of the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola, and community merienda for the 80+ student beneficiaries.

IMH and JABMA: Ignatiana Outreach 2019. On August 3, 2019, the (21) members of Ignatian Management Honors(IHM) and the (35) members of the Junior Ateneo Business Manager’s Association (JABMA) held their outreach in honor of the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola at Cabugao Elementary School. Activities were conducted by each respectively; For IHM, interactive games and dream writing with 49 beneficiaries, and for JABMA, school supplies for their 45 beneficiaries. Both were able to conduct storytelling of the St Ignatius of Loyola.

PCSKV: Spreading Ignatian Teaching and Values to the Peripheries. The Peer Coaches, Student & Kaabay Volunteers Group (30) of the College Guidance Office (9) with their goal to bring the teachings and the values of Sr. Ignatius of Loyola to the communities outside of Ateneo so they can benefit and use them in the future held its outreach activity at Fundado Elementary School in Canaman last August 3, 2019. On this activity, they were able to present and share the story of St. Ignatius of Loyola, give donations, and school supplies to the (109) student beneficiaries.

 

ACRCY: Babae, Importante: An Awareness Seminar on Hygiene and Sexually Transmitted Disease. On August 3, 2019, with (15) students and staff from ACRCY and UHSC, they were able to hold their outreach activity at the Naga City District Jail where they conducted a seminar on hygiene (Poor Tooth brushing, Breast Examination, Handwashing & Vaginal Care) and sexually transmitted diseases (HIV/Aids & STD awareness), distributed hygiene kit’s, Zumba, and feeding (54) female inmates beneficiaries.

Ignatiana 2019: APSA’s Community Merienda. The Association of Psychology Students of Ateneo (APSA) with their aim to contribute to the students’ holistic development and help them in strengthening their skills in reaching out to others conducted a Community Merienda and art sessions outreach for100 beneficiaries at Barangay San Roque, Canaman last August 3, 2019.

JPIA GOES TO IRIGA: The Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants (JPIA)- ADNU Chapters sixteen (16) member and officer conducted the “JPIA Valentines sa Iriga” outreach last February 24, 2019 at La Anunsacion, Iriga City. They were able to do story-telling, a lemon relay game, and balloon relay games, and feed the children from the sixty (60) family beneficiaries. With the help of the Barangay Kagawad, they were able to distribute 1 grocery packs for each family.

JABMA Valentines Outreach at Missionaries of the Poor: The Junior Ateneo Business Managers Association (JABMA) with its (25) members conducted their Valentine Outreach at the Missionaries of the Poor last February 16, 2019. They were able to reach out through storytelling, other activities, and feed (150) children beneficiaries.

 

JPIA GOES TO BAAO: On February 3, 2019, the Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants (JPIA)- ADNU Chapters (38) member and officer conducted the “JPIA Goes to Baao” outreach. With the help of the Barangay Kagawad, they were able to conduct their program, gift-giving of school supplies and were able to feed 200 children beneficiaries of Barangay San Francisco, Baao.

TOURISMO Ateneo Pagmamahal na Handog: TOURISMO Ateneo with its (26) officers/members and their moderator, as part of the Christmas Celebration, reached out to (25) children beneficiaries from the Missionaries of the Poor at the Naga City Children’s Home, Pacol Road, Naga City last December 18, 2018. Through a simple program, gift giving and a simple lunch they have shared love and joy to these special children.

TACTICS Xavier Day Outreach. The Ateneo Consortium of Technological, Information and Computing Sciences (TACTICS) with (32) Officers and member in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science held their December 1, 2018, Xavier day outreach at Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur. They were able to conduct storytelling on the life of St. Francis Xavier and provide community mirienda to 120 children beneficiaries.

LMIANS with ABET and ABFA: Community Outreach in Honor of ST. Francis Xavier. On December 1, 2018, the Legal Management Institute of Ateneo de Naga Students (LMIANS) together with Ateneo Business Engineering Technopreneurs (ABET), Ateneo Banking & Finance Association (ABFA), and other organization, (IMH, IHA, and DWTL-W) (22) officers and member collaborated and held their Community Outreach in Honor of ST. Francis Xavier at Casuray, Magarao. They were able to feed (380) children beneficiaries, taught the life of St. Francis Xavier and held games.

LEAP Xavier Day Outreach Activity. The Liga ng mga Estudyante sa Agham Pampulitika’s with its (22) officers and members together with (1) Admin-URC and (3) Staff (URC/USIC/OMI) conducted their Xavier Day Outreach Activity at Barobaybay Elementary School, Magarao, Camarines Sur were they held a Nutrition and Hygiene Seminar for the (76) children beneficiaries. They have taught the children on proper nutrition groups (go, glow, grow), demonstrated the proper way to wash hands, held games, provide snacks and distributed hygiene kits.

JABMA and TOURISMO Xavier Day Outreach. On December 1, 2018, JABMA in collaboration with TOURISMO with their (30) officers and members held their Xavier Day outreach at Cabuyao Elementary School, Milaor. They were able to feed (370) beneficiaries from different grade levels and conducted storytelling on the life of St. Francis Xavier and games.

PCSKV GROUP Xavier Day Outreach. The PCSCV Group with its (12) student volunteers, (3) PCSKV Alumni and (9) Guidance Personnel, on December 1, 2018, Xavier Day reached out to their partner community of Fundado Elementary School, Canaman, Camarines Sur. The group conducted Community mirienda, various activities such as art activities, games, group sharing about Christmas and gift-giving to four (4) groups of child beneficiaries with different grade levels and four (4) full-time teachers and one (1) school head.

ACRCYC’s Waste Management and First Aid sa District Jail. The Ateneo College Red Cross Youth Council’s (20) volunteers in partnership with the University Health Service Center (UHSC) (3) staff held their Xavier Day outreach activity at the Naga City District Jail, Del Rosario, Naga City. With 300 plus beneficiaries, they were able to conduct a series of lectures; Waste Management by Mr. Miguel Enguero, Medical Emergencies by Ms. Mitchell Hallare, RN and Trauma Emergencies by Mr. Earl Bonita. They were also able to implement the CLAYGO movement, donate 12 large plastic drums for garbage segregation and installed PET bottle trash bin.

TACTICS Community Mirienda and APC Learning Sessions. The Ateneo Consortium of Technological, Information and Computing Sciences (TACTICS) a co-curricular organization, in celebration of the Feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola on July 28, 2018, conducted a Community Mirienda and ACP Learning Sessions at Barangay Palo Elementary School in Canaman. The activity was taken part by (47) students from IT/IS/CS along with (1) faculty. The organization was able to provide support to the community and were able to learn to interact with people from different walks of life that heighten their awareness of the actual status of the community. COES Community Mirienda, Ignatiana Outreach Activity 2018. The Computer Engineering Society, a student co-curricular organization last July 28, 2018, conducted their first Social Involvement Activity a feeding program at Barangay Cabugao Elementary School, Milaor. COES with (45) Students, (1) Faculty, and (2) Administrators. They were able to conduct and facilitate mini-games and tutorials that captivated the attention of the (379) children beneficiaries, who cooperated with enthusiasm.
