In celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the Ateneo de Naga University-Institute for Environmental Conservation and Research (INECAR) would like to share the following baseline flora checklists of Mount Isarog Natural Park (MINP) and Caramoan National Park.

The said data products are part of the INECAR’s BicolTaxa Initiative that aims to inventory, identify, monitor, and present the native biodiversity of the Bicol Region. The Initiative is heavily inspired by Co’s Digital Flora of the Philippines and is intended to raise the awareness of the local people on the native flora and fauna in Bicol Region. In the future, more products will be added as we continue to collaborate with our local partners in exploring our unique environment.

We would like to thank our partners who have supported and continue to support us through the years:

  • City Government of Naga
  • City Environment and Natural Resources Office – Naga
  • Naga City Tourism Office
  • Community Environment and Natural Resources Office – Iriga
  • Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Region V
  • Environmental Management Bureau – Region V
