Seven (7) Senior High School interns from Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU) presented the results of their tree survey in a public forum held on April 10, 2025, at the Bro. Richie Fernando Hall, ADNU, Naga City. The event drew 84 participants, including students and their accompanying teachers.

The survey was conducted on April 2 at the ADNU Pacol Campus as part of the interns’ efforts to help build a comprehensive database of tree species across the university’s campuses. With guidance from the Institute for Environmental Conservation and Research (INECAR) personnel, the interns shared their findings, discussing the species identified, their ecological roles, origins, and classifications.

An open forum followed the presentations, where attendees engaged in discussions and received native tree seedlings as tokens of appreciation. Questions that required further clarification were addressed by INECAR personnel.

This activity is part of the interns’ deliverables, aimed at strengthening their skills in data gathering, research communication, public presentation, and event coordination.
