The Creative Endeavors Council (CEC) directs integrated programs in the humanities, culture and the arts that heighten the awareness of the faculty and students in the promotion and preservation of Bikol and Filipino culture that contributes to the holistic formation of the Ateneo de Naga University community, especially its students.
Venue for Expression
The Creative Endeavors Council provides the Ateneo de Naga University community, especially the students, a venue to promote and express freely their political, spiritual, and philosophical ideas, founded on academic and scholarly discernment and reflective of ideals of Jesuit education through various artistic platforms.
Formation and Awareness
CEC ensures that this expression of ideas contributes to one’s personal and social formation, and environmental awareness. It also seeks to aid in the proliferation and preservation of Bikol arts and culture, through collaborative projects, workshops, stage performances, and multimedia productions.
Artistic Skills Development
The CEC further commits to the development of progressive artistic skills among students through the integration of viable artistic influences and practices, both global and periodical, with the application of technology and research.
For Bikol Arts and Culture
The CEC aims to inculcate among existing Bikol artists and enthusiasts a sense of deeper appreciation and special preference for Bikol arts and culture.
