The Ateneo de Naga University Graduate School held its seminar Orientation on the Preparation of Capstone Project on August 14, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM through Google Meet. The orientation was led by the Graduate School office. Dr. Ronaldo SP. Elicay, Graduate School Program Director, served as the speaker of the event.

The orientation was attended by graduate students who are currently preparing their capstone project which is part of the major requirements to complete their graduate school programs.

In the orientation, Dr. Elicay thoroughly discussed the nature of thesis/dissertation and capstone project, especially its differences. He outlined the essential parts of a research paper, provided sample topics to explore in each field, and emphasized the steps to take in writing a research paper based on the process and guidelines of the university.

The orientation concluded with an open forum where students had the opportunity to ask questions and address other concerns about research writing. Ultimately, Dr. Elicay reminded the students to dedicate ample time in writing their papers. While an academic journey in Graduate School can be challenging to juggle with work and personal matters, writing the paper can be achieved with hard work, discipline, and support from the academic community of the ADNU Graduate School.
