On 30 July 2026, Dr. Peñafrancia O. Reyta, Director of the Ateneo Language Training Center (ALTC), represented Ateneo de Naga University at the British Council Exams Partner Gathering 2026 held at F1 Hotel, Taguig City. The event, with the theme “Connections Through English & Exams,” served as a platform for strengthening partnerships, exchanging best practices, and exploring collaborative opportunities among British Council Exams partners nationwide.

As part of the event, Dr. Reyta participated in the “The Perfect Match: Where Partnerships Meet Success!” B2B Speed Dating activity, which connected partner organizations to discuss potential collaborations, share institutional initiatives, and identify opportunities for future engagement in English language education and assessment. She also attended the plenary sessions, networking activities, and discussions on the latest developments in British Council examinations and partner programs.

The event further strengthened ALTC’s partnership with the British Council through interactions with key British Council representatives, including Mike Cabigon, Head of Market, English & Exams, and Jessica dela Cruz, Account Manager, English & Exams. Participation in the gathering provided valuable insights into emerging trends, partnership opportunities, and strategies that will support the continued delivery of quality English language assessment and training services at Ateneo de Naga University.
