The Ateneo de Naga University convened its annual General Faculty Assembly on August 11, 2026, gathering educators and academic leaders from across departments at the Arrupe Convention Hall for a day dedicated to institutional alignment, strategic policy discussion, and community building.

Organized by the Office of the Academic Vice-President, the whole-day meeting served as a session of updates and dialogues, with topics tackling university trajectories, office re-organizations, national issues, accreditation reports, and a new subject focusing on Bicol studies. The faculty community also discussed matters on the current studentry, envisioning several directions on Magis and instruction. The College Faculty Club ended the afternoon session with organizational updates and an online election.

As the academic year begins, the assembly reaffirmed Ateneo de Naga University’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, mission-driven governance, and a collaborative professional culture dedicated to serving the community.
