ADNU Earns Global Recognition in First THE Sustainability Impact Ratings Participation

Ateneo de Naga University has earned a place in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 (formerly the THE Impact Rankings), marking the University’s first participation in the global assessment of higher education institutions’ contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In its debut appearance, ADNU placed in the 1001–1500 overall range out of 1,600+ institutions worldwide.

Among the individual SDGs, ADNU’s strongest showing was in SDG 1: No Poverty, where it placed in the 301–400 range. The University also ranked in the 401–600 range for SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. These results reflect the areas where ADNU’s current programs, institutional efforts, and community engagements registered most clearly in the 2026 assessment.

ADNU’s participation in the 2026 Sustainability Impact Ratings reflects the University’s ongoing efforts to align teaching, research, formation, and community engagement with the SDGs. As its first appearance in the global assessment, the results also provide an initial benchmark for identifying areas of institutional strength and opportunities for further growth in advancing sustainability and social impact.
