On 23 June 2026, the University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group (UDRRMG), in coordination with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), successfully conducted a Cluster Earthquake Evacuation Drill covering the following ADNU Bagumbayan campus buildings:

  • Engineering Building
  • Fr. Hilario Belardo, SJ SHS Building
  • Fr. Juan Sanz, SJ Building
  • Former Ateneo Child Learning Center Building

The activity evaluated existing emergency response and evacuation procedures in order to strengthen the earthquake preparedness and resilience of the ADNU community. Through the active participation of students, faculty members, and staff, the drill provided an opportunity to practice proper earthquake response actions, reinforce safety protocols, and identify areas for improvement in disaster preparedness measures.

This initiative underscores the University’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety, preparedness, and collective responsibility, ensuring that community members are equipped with the proper knowledge to respond effectively during seismic emergencies.
