Ateneo de Naga University Graduate School recently gathered graduate students, faculty members, and academic stakeholders for an orientation on CMO No. 21 series of 2025, the amendment to CMO No. 15 series of 2019 on the Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for Graduate Programs. Held virtually via Google Meet on April 30, 2026, the session served as a meaningful avenue for dialogue, clarification, and deeper understanding of the evolving landscape of graduate education in the Philippines.

The orientation featured Dr. Michael B. Bibon, Educational Supervisor II of CHED Regional Office V, as resource speaker. Through his discussion, participants were guided through the salient provisions of the amended memorandum, particularly its implications on graduate program structures, academic standards, and institutional compliance. More importantly, the session encouraged critical reflection on how graduate education continues to evolve in response to the changing demands of research, professional practice, and higher learning.

As higher education institutions continue to navigate policy developments, activities such as this reaffirm the importance of transparency, consultation, and academic dialogue. Through engagements that bring together administrators, faculty, and students, Ateneo de Naga University Graduate School continues to foster a learning environment grounded not only in excellence, but also in inclusivity, reflection, and meaningful discourse.
