Finding God in All Things: ADNU-Grad School Holds Live Out Ignatian Retreat for JED and CJE Students

The Ateneo de Naga University-Graduate School (AdNU GS) intensified its commitment to Ignatian formation as it completed a two-day Live‑Out Ignatian Retreat for the students of Jesuit Education (JED) and Characteristics of Jesuit Education (CJE) on 24–25 January 2026, directed by the fundamental Ignatian grace: Finding God in All Things. The said activity was organized in coordination with the Office of Mission and Identity. It unfolded simultaneously in three batches, allowing students to journey inward while staying connected as one Ignatian community.

Embedded in the Spiritual Practices of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the retreat sought to guide Graduate students concerning a more reflective stance that recognizes God’s presence in the simple patterns of life, work, study, and relationships.

Anchored on the theme Finding God in All Things, the retreat emphasized that God is encountered not only in extraordinary spiritual moments but in quiet, daily experiences of life. Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity and noticed God’s presence in all spheres of life, thus being restored in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

As I reflect on this remarkable experience:

“This is a pause for me, to gather shattered pieces of myself. To find a solitude that guides me to regain strength, to process my unspoken whys, and to hear His voice, which I often overlook.

The Graduate School confirms its dedication to creating more spaces where faith, reflection, and academics put it all together and be men and women for others, the Ignatian way!
