Ateneo de Naga University, serving as the PEAC Regional Secretariat, hosted a two-day training for senior high school administrators on 26–27 January 2026. The seminar focused on the implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum. Organized by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), the event aimed to equip SHS administrators with the knowledge and competencies necessary to effectively operationalize the revised curriculum.

The program featured in-depth discussions on the implications of the strengthened SHS curriculum on academic operations, as well as strategic planning sessions to support its implementation in private schools. The activity was attended by 241 principals, directors, and department heads representing private senior high schools from various parts of the country.

Fr. Aristotle C. Dy, SJ, PEAC Regional Program Director, formally welcomed the participants and shared a brief history of Ateneo de Naga University, highlighting how the institution has continuously adapted to and mitigated the impact of curriculum changes over the years. On the second day, Dr. Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, provided updates on PEAC programs and initiatives relevant to the implementation of the strengthened SHS curriculum.

The training was facilitated by the Ateneo Teacher Training Center under the leadership of Dr. Arnulfo Aaron R. Reganit.
