ADNU Elected as Vice President for Luzon in ASPAP, Inc.

On December 15, 2025, the Association of Schools of Public Administration in the Philippines, Inc. (ASPAP, Inc.) successfully conducted its election of new officers and committee chairs, marking another milestone in the organization’s continuing efforts to strengthen public administration education and practice nationwide.

During the election, Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU) was elected as the Vice President for Luzon, with Dr. Malu C. Barcillano, Dean of the Graduate School and Director of the Center for Local Governance, serving as the University’s representative. Her election reflects the trust and confidence of ASPAP members in Ateneo de Naga University’s sustained leadership and contribution to the organization.

Ateneo de Naga University has been an active and committed member of ASPAP, Inc. for several years, having served in the organization’s leadership for five consecutive terms. Prior to its current role, the University held the position of Public Relations Officer for four terms, consistently supporting ASPAP’s initiatives in advancing local governance, public service, and academic collaboration.

The election of Ateneo de Naga University as Vice President for Luzon further underscores its continued dedication to public administration, governance innovation, and regional collaboration. Through Dr. Barcillano’s leadership, the University looks forward to contributing to ASPAP’s programs and strengthening partnerships among institutions across Luzon.
