The Center for Community Development extends their heartfelt thanks to the Local Government of Gainza, led by Mayor Glenn Romeo M. Gontang for recognizing Ateneo de Naga University during the celebration of the municipality’s 159th Foundation Anniversary, themed “Greater Gainza: Converging Past, Launching the Future.”

In his State of the Municipal Address, Hon. Gontang expressed his gratitude to various organizations and institutions, Ateneo among them, for their rapid humanitarian response that helped fast-track the recovery of the people of Gainza after the devastating floods caused by Typhoon Kristine last year.

As a gesture of appreciation, the people of Gainza awarded a Plaque of Appreciation to Ateneo de Naga University, received on behalf of the institution by Van Jose Martinez of the Center for Community Development. Thank you, LGU Gainza. Diyos Mabalos!
