10 April 2025 — the Ateneo de Naga University, through the Ateneo MAGIS Technology Business Incubator and the College of Business and Accountancy, relaunched the school’s entrepreneurship building, renaming it as the Matteo Ricci, SJ Hall. The special event was attended by the members of the Ateneo university community, representatives from partner institutions, as well as officers from the Department of Science and Technology through Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development, helmed by its Executive Director, Dr. Enrico Paringit.

The ceremony began with a short assembly at the Madrigal Amphitheater, followed by the ribbon-cutting and blessing at the new building.
With new and improved facilities, the Matteo Ricci, SJ Hall serves as a primary hub where ADNU students can hone their craft in business and entrepreneurship. The ADNU Magis-TBI HQ is also located at the second floor of the building. The renovation was made possible thanks to the grant provided by the DOST-PCIEERD.

Matteo Ricci, SJ was a Jesuit missionary who, through his insightful approach via science and entrepreneurship, continued the vision of St Francis Xavier in evangelizing China.
