The Office of the Ateneo de Naga University Graduate School in coordination with the Graduate School Guidance Office conducted an Enrichment Session entitled “Hope After the Storm: A Christmas Reflection” on December 14, 2024, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM via Zoom and YouTube Live.
The session started with an opening prayer and a welcome message from Dr. Ronald Elicay, Program Director. Mr. John Michael Revilla, one of the Graduate School’s Guidance Counselors and Master of Ceremonies introduced the Resource Speaker, Mr. Val Dominic F. Monit, Head of the Ateneo de Naga University JHS Integrated Campus Ministry Office.
Mr. Monit shared the objectives of the session that is to reflect on the personal and communal challenges brought by Typhoon Kristine and the lessons learned through these experiences; to inspire hope and resilience as essential components of recovery and personal growth; and to embrace the Christmas season as a time for gratitude, renewal, and fostering connections with others. It was then followed by an open forum – sharing of thoughts and experiences. After this, Ms. Maria Ardelya A. de los Santos, one of the Graduate School’s Guidance Counselors presented the services that the Graduate School Guidance Office offers.
Before ending the activity, Mr. Monit was given an e-certificate and a token for unselfishly sharing his time and expertise as the resource speaker for the activity.
