ADNU Grad School Hosts PAGE V Assembly and Election of Board Members for 2024-2025

The Ateneo de Naga University-Graduate School Office served as the host institution during the Philippine Association for Graduate Education -Region V (PAGE V) General Assembly and Election of Officers for 2024-2025 on June 21, 2024 at the Function Hall, Alingal Building, ADNU Bagumbayan Campus. The activity’s theme was “PAGE’s Role in Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration: Addressing Global Challenges.”

This was the 1st assembly after the recent reorganization of the PAGE-National Chapter for Region V which took place on April 11, 2024, during the Joint General Membership Assembly with the Council of Deans for Graduate Education (CODGE V).The assembly aimed to fully function and achieve one of its primary goals of encouraging and promoting the production and dissemination of research to contribute to regional, national, and global development. This was presented by Dr. Malu C. Barcillano of Ateneo de Naga University, PAGE-V Secretary and Treasurer.

 

 

Dr. Milagros Esparrago of Bicol College, President of PAGE V presented the historical background of the professional organization.  It was followed by the presentation of updates about the PAGE-Luzon Area by Dr. Arnel Bravo, Secretary of PAGE-National, who joined via ZOOM Cloud Meetings.

Dr. Jonald Sia of Osmena Colleges, PAGE Auditor discussed the membership for PAGE V, specifically the Institutional, Lifetime, Regular, and Associate.

The assembly ended with the Closing message from the President of PAGE V- Dr. Milagros S. Esparrago.

There was a total of thirty (30) attendees composed of Graduate Studies Deans, Faculty, and Students who participated in the said activity and it was facilitated by Dr. Ma. Filipinas Bana, Faculty, Graduate School-Ateneo de Naga University.

A PAGE Board Meeting followed after the assembly.
