Developing and cultivating business concepts and opportunities with Consuelo “Chito” Madrigal Foundation, Inc. homeowners as the participants for the Service-Learning Activity was conducted by the MBA 233 – Operations and Systems Management class of Dr. Malu Barcillano on March 16, 2024.
To prepare the homeowners to design, manage people, and apply technological enhancement to their existing livelihood products that are locally produced at the premise of their home, the Management concepts of Inventory management, Material Requirements Planning, and Quality Assurance are discussed during the said activity.
Workshop and interactive discussions happened, bridging the actual practice of the Consuelo “Chito” Madrigal homeowners in planning for the inventory management, storage, movement, sales projection, and supplier sources to the more up-to-date and innovative approaches as shared by our resource speaker, Mr. Christian Manuba, MBA student.
Further, the Service-Learning Activity concluded with a conversation on business practices of businesses like Eye Spa, water refilling stations, groceries, tailoring shops, and many more. It provided the participants with an inspiring perspective on how to proceed with the start-up.
