The City Government of Makati Inks MOA with ATTC

To further support the professional growth of kindergarten teachers, the City Government of Makati through the Division of City Schools of Makati, Department of Education (DepEd) has partnered with the Ateneo Teacher Training Center (ATTC) to provide an 18-unit course in early childhood education to thirty-eight public school teachers.

In the Agreement, the Schools Division of Makati City as an attached agency of the Department of Education commits itself to equip its teachers’ professional competencies by improving their pedagogical skills necessary in kindergarten teaching, and ATTC functions as a teacher resource center and provides professional assistance.

Under the Memorandum of Agreement, ATTC will offer a customized program called Executive Class Program in Early Childhood Education (ExCPCEd), a two-month customized early childhood program to be conducted on flexible dates using full online-distance learning modality. Dr. Arnulfo Aaron R. Reganit, ATTC Director, serves as the Program Coordinator.

The City Government of Makati invested a total amount of One Million One Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Pesos (Ph 1,121,000.00) for the whole program. The MOA is signed by Makati City Mayor Mar-Len Abigail S. Binay and Bro. Raymund E. Belleza, SJ, Acting University President.
