Guidance Counselor for Special Programs

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Master’s degree in Psychology or Guidance and Counseling
  • Must be a Registered Guidance Counselor or Registered Psychologist
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills, facilitation and organization skills
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft tools, Google applications, and data management applications
  • Knowledgeable in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs and activities for college students, graduate school students, faculty, and staff

 

Description of Work:

  • Responsible for the program development of the center’s special programs (e.g. Mental Health, Year-level Group Guidance Activities, Program for Special Populations)
  • Handle the recruitment, organization, supervision, and formation of the center volunteers
  • Assist the Director in carrying out the center’s outreach activities, and in providing opportunties for dialogues with student-leaders on matters related to students issues
  • Recommend to the Director the students who are in need of special service by a specialist
