Network Operations and Computer Services Office

Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Has basic to intermediate knowledge on system administration (Linux/Unix-based systems), system monitoring and security, and wired and wireless network
- Has technical skills in hardware set-up and troubleshooting
- Has experience in Virtualization Environment (open source)
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (for the Contractual position)
Description of Work:
- Generally responsible for the maintenance and management of the NOCS Data Center and its various NOCS and University servers
- Plans, installs, and supports NOCS network software and servers for both voice and data services, and the Anti-virus, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems in the University Network Infrastructure
- Assists the System/Security Administrator in the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Server infrastructure, and in responding to like service request; and in Analyzing and defining IT security requirements of the University
- Assist the Network Administrator in maintaining and securing the physical connectivity of the University Network infrastructure
