MNCCI Awards AdNU-CLG As One Of Its Partners

Amidst the pandemic, the Ateneo de Naga University- Center for Local Governance (AdNU-CLG) was able to build a proactive collaboration with outstanding partners last year to better advocate people’s empowerment in business and governance, one of them is the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI). AdNU-CLG and MNCCI are in coordination to provide help to the members of Local Government Units and entrepreneurs through webinars and online certificate courses. With this, the Ateneo de Naga University- Center for Local Governance was invited to the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s General Membership meeting and Christmas party.

During the said event, MNCCI extends their appreciation to the people and organizations that played a role in the Chamber’s promotion of a sustainable economic development framework as an alternative service delivery channel for business promotion and development programs in business and social development. Dr. Malu Barcillano, Director of AdNU-Center for Local Governance, was awarded and recognized for the invaluable support and assistance to the Chamber as a partner in sustainable business development through its President, Mr. Ferdinand Sia.

Her Excellency, Vice President of the Philippines, Ma. Leonor Gerona Robredo also sent a message to the Chamber and its partner as they play a vital part in surviving and building a better future for the Filipinos, especially to the farmers, entrepreneurs, and business industry of Camarines Sur.

The event happened last December 19, 2020 at the Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City. The members and guests of the Chamber were required to wear their face masks and face shields and maintained physical distancing in accordance to the city’s health protocols and regulations.
