The Ateneo de Naga University – Center for Local Governance (AdNU-CLG) conducted its 7th Webinar Program entitled “Digital Development for Governance and Enterprises” last 25 September 2020, 3:30pm – 5:00 pm through ZOOM Cloud Meetings.

The first topic of the webinar entitled “Digital Governance” was discussed by Dr. Marshal Q. Murillo, a Professor from the MPA-Graduate School of Ateneo de Naga University. He emphasized that Transparency and Accountability is important when innovating the mode of delivery of government services for all the data and information will be recorded. Thus, technology will be a great contributor for the transparency of the government.

The speaker for the second topic of the webinar, Dr. Ed R. Pilapil, Jr., Professor of the MBA-Graduate School of the same university, shared his expertise about  Developing Enterprises in this Digital Economy. He mentioned about why and how to start developing an enterprise in digitizing services and products. With the new normal set-up going on, transitioning to digital enterprise will be more convenient once available, not just for the seller but also for the consumers.

The webinar was facilitated by the moderator, Dr. Malu C. Barcillano, Director of Center for Local Governance. With the help of the speakers, all the participants coming from different sectors mainly AdNU-MPA and MBA students who have a live access via Facebook and YouTube streaming served as their platform to raise their queries to the two speakers during the open forum.

Moreover, the live streaming was operated with the collaborative assistance of the technical support team composed of Mr. Sherwin B. Perez and Mr. Emmanuel P. Llorin of Fr. James J. O’Brien S.J. Library (headed by Ms. Edna M. San Buenaventura, University Librarian) and Mr. Ronald P. Royo Jr. of the Management Information System Office.
