Teatro Aliento de Ateneo, the theater arts student organization, will participate in the final line-up of plays for the very first Pista nin Teatrong Bikolnon on 29-31 January 2020 at Ibalong Centrum for Recreation, Legazpi City, Albay.

We invite everyone to watch and support the organization’s one-act play “Dormitorio” on 31 January (Friday), 2PM, at the mentioned venue.

Elsie Albis, the playwright, is one of our Assistant Professors at the Department of Literature and Language Studies and now currently taking PhD Literature in University of Santo Tomas. She already had various stage plays presented by her students in ADNU. She also founded the Teatro Aliento de Ateneo with other students in 2016.

Esmeralda Albis, the director, is one of our AB Literature alumni and has already directed previous musical plays, such as “Ang Pambihirang Sombrero” and “Ang Alamat ni Daragang Magayon.” She also directed the restaging of “Mga Aninipot sa Tahaw kan Salog” in several tour shows in Naga City and Camarines Sur.
