The Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU) hosted the oath-taking ceremony and planning of the first-ever elected officers of the newly-formed Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Inc. or PAPSAS – Region V.

The regional association’s activities were held on 21 December 2019 at the Senior High School Multipurpose Room, Fr. Hilario Belardo, S.J. Hall.
Nelson S. Legacion, Mayor of Naga City, served as inducting officer. Among the elected regional leaders of PAPSAS – Region 5 was ADNU Director of Student Affairs Rodolfo SB. Virtus Jr. as Vice President.

The regional association planned to hold a regional assembly for student affairs and services practitioners, and leadership training for students. The PAPSAS-National will also bring to Naga City the Certified Student Affairs and Services Specialist (CSAS) Course for the professional development of PAPSAS members in the region.
