The Ateneo de Naga University-Center for Local Governance conducted Training on Local Legislation on 28 to 29 March 2019 at the CLG Training Room, Fr. Juan R. Sanz, S.J. Hall.

The training aims to equip local leaders with the skills and knowledge in line with the delivery of their respective functions, thus helping them become more competent as public servants with a sense of integrity and public accountability. Also, it gave the participants the opportunity to address certain issues in their respective barangay regarding local legislation.

The speaker, Atty. Vicente Dante P. Adan, tackled the different actions that should be done in order to improve local governance through lecture on Parliamentary Procedure. Further, they were taught how to draft resolution and an ordinance which is a very essential skill that newly elected official must possess.

The participants of the said training were Sangguniang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan representatives of their respective barangays. With this training, the issues on local legislation were given concrete solutions.
