The 9th National Basketball Training Center League formally opened last 17 November 2018 at Ateneo de Naga University Gymnasium. Over seventeen schools in Naga and nearby municipalities of Camarines Sur have participated in the NBTC League from November to February 2019.
The NBTC League is in partnership with Ateneo de Naga University through the College Athletics Office. The champion of NBTC Naga-Camarines Sur will represent in the regional elimination championship in Catanduanes Province with five other provinces namely, Tabaco, Legazpi, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Camarines Norte in 2019. The NBTC Regional Champion will represent the Bicol Region in the NBTC National Finals in Metro Manila on March 2019.
