On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Philippine Association for Teacher Education (PAFTE), Dr. Arnulfo Aaron R. Reganit, the founding Dean of the College of Education, was conferred the PAFTE Parangal Award for his contributions in the promotion of excellence and nobility in the teaching profession in the Philippines at Novotel, Cubao, Quezon City last 23 October 2018.
Dr. Reganit was elected in the National Board of the Association as Auditor for four years, and President of the Bicol Chapter for eight years. During his term, he had mentored the teacher education institutions (TEIs) in the Region in the implementation of the teacher education curriculum and in the teacher development. He had helped the TEIs in achieving high passing percentage in the Licensure Examination for Teachers.
PAFTE is a professional organization for teacher educators and is at the frontline of educational reform and teacher development.
