The program started with an opening prayer led by University Chaplain Fr. Celerino Ignacio M. Reyes, SJ and SSG President Katherine Chancoco. After which, the daily gospel was read by Fr. Cel that gave the rallyists a chance to have an individual reflection. A message from the University President Fr. Primitivo E. Viray, Jr., SJ followed. He appealed to everyone to continue praying for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Mindanao, especially those in Marawi City.

After the community prayer took place, candles were lit to show respect for those who have died in Marawi City. The University choir sang a song to solemnize the activity while individual prayers were offered.

As one united community, the university remains hopeful that these turmoil happening not only in the country but in the whole world will soon be over.
