In the Board Examination for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) held in May 2017, the Ateneo de Naga University obtained an overall passing performance rating of 80.30% placing the University 3rd top performing nationwide.

Chester Garcia Beluang, garnering a passing rate of 90%, ranked 10th nationwide.

The first-takers obtained a 93.62% passing rate.
