The Ateneo de Naga University-Center for Local Governance and Graduate School-Master in Public Administration Program have participated in the Let’s Talk it Over: Public Forum on Federalism and Local Governance via video streaming sponsored by the College of Business and Economics of the Nueva Vizcaya State University and co-organized by the University of the Philippines Open University on 16 February 2017 at the Bro. Richard Michael Fernando, SJ Conference Hall.

Dr. Danilo DLR. Reyes, Professor of the University of the Philippines Open University/ University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance and President of the Philippine Society of Public Administration was one of the Resource Persons who presented and discussed the different structures and forms of Federalism. He highlighted the fact that the Philippines assuming to adopt a federal government has yet to have a formal structure and form of federalism and therefore, it is premature to discuss the possible economy and political spheres of the Philippines upon the adoption of the new government form if ever.

The said activity was attended by the college faculty, staff, and students of MA in Public Administration, MA in Education Social Studies, Political Science, Economics, and Legal Management.

The event was made possible thru the assistance of the Fr. James O’Brien Library and the Network Operations and Computer Services of the Ateneo de Naga University.
