AdNU-CLG Conducts LCTP Module 2: The Personal and Shared Response

After a month-time of having been introduced with Bridging Leadership framework through the launching of the Leadership for Convergence Training Program (LCTP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with the Ateneo de Naga University through the Center for Local Governance, the City / Municipal Action Team (C/MAT) Leaders took their second module entitled “The Personal and Shared Response” last 22-23 July 2016.

This second activity in the series of trainings is part of the co-ownership phase in the aforementioned framework that include topics such as Concretization and Visualization of Personal Response, a Dialogue on Seeking Shared Response, Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry, Convergence Initiative, and capping off the module for the two-day session is the planning and enhancement of their respective City / Municipal Action Plan (C/MAP).

The C/MAT Leaders from the different Cities and Municipalities in the Bicol Region form-part the four (4) different classes which are under the supervision of the pool of faculty from the University who are equipped and trained by the Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF). After each training, the participants are expected to implement whatever learning, strategies and methodologies they have learned.

Dr. Elmer Soriano, representing the DSWD as its consultant, and the representatives of the DSWD Convergence Team were present during the activity. A class pictorial by the Four Pillars concluded the two-day activity.
