The Ateneo Teacher Training Center hosted the 3-day in-service training (INSET) for private junior high schools last 29 April – 1 May 2016 at the Fr. Francis Dolan, SJ Building. Around 490 teacher-participants attended the said INSET in the five subject areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Filipino and Araling Panlipunan.

The In-Service Training is a capacity building program that addresses the need of the private school administrators and teachers to strengthen and continuously upgrade the quality of their school’s instructional programs in the light of the K-12. It is a program mandated by the GASTPE Law (RA 8545) that emphasizes the need of the Department of Education to implement programs to improve the quality of education in the country by maximizing the use of resources in the private education sector.
