The Master of Arts in Public Administration (MPA) students of Ateneo De Naga University – Graduate School under Dr. Malu Barcillano’s class on PA-215 Public Service Improvement Administration, conducted the Training on Service Improvement on 4 March 2016 at the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Field Office, Santa Lucia, Magarao, Camarines Sur. It was attended by sixteen front-liner personnel of NIA Field Office headed by Chief Engineer Nelson Cortes.
Each member of the class was given task to discuss and facilitate a particular session and activities in the training. It involved workshop, discussion, role playing, and action planning. The training was designed and prepared by the PA 215 Class in coordination with the Center for Local Governance and NIA Regional Office through the Regional Manager’s Office. It aims to improve the processes of the organization in relation to delivering their services to clients, good customer relationship, and how to become effective front liners especially in time of problems and complaints.
