The Ateneo de Naga University through the Center for Local Governance in coordination with the College of Nursing, and Zuellig Family Foundation established partnership to implement the Health Leadership and Governance Program. The Program aims to strengthen leadership and governance of Mayors and Municipal Health Officers to improve the local health systems for better health outcomes in the region.
With this, on 30 September to 2 October 2015, the ZFF conducted the Module 1 Training on Health and Leadership and Management for the Poor as first component of the Program.
The Training Module covered fourteen sessions which the trainees have actively participated and attended: Introduction to ZFF; The Health Leadership and Management for the Poor Program; How to Use the Leadership Journey Learning Journal and Workbook; The Poor and Their Healthcare Predicament; The Bridging Leadership Framework; The Leadership Journey; My Leadership Journey; My Leadership Capital; My Current Health Reality; My Preferred Reality; Introduction to Systems Thinking; Multi-stakeholder Processes; Dialogue; and Action Planning and Synthesis.
The pool of trainers who attended the said activity are: Jay P. Abawag, Dr. Malu C. Barcillano, Rolan Jon G. Bulao, France T. Caayao, Dr. Michael A. Cuesta, Joel John A. Guerrero, Emma M. Intia, Karlos Jerome N. Llorin, Ryan Giancarlo D. Macandog, Dr. Delia B. Oco, Errol A. Pederio, Francisco Rico U. Raquitico, Marlene L. Tejada, Maria Lourdes M. Vargas, and Benita Michele C. Verdadero.
The ZFF-trainers who conducted the 1st Module are: Ms. Teresa Fabugais, Philip Jerome Flores, and Vincent Magtibay.
The said training was conducted at the CLG Training Room, Ateneo de Naga University.
