The Center for Local Governance conducted the Training on Conflict Resolution on 19-20 August 2015 which was held at the CLG Training Room, and attended by Sangguniang Bayan members of the Local Government Units of Bula, Pasacao, and Tigaon.

 Arrieth Genoveva O. Sanderson, Deputy Director of the Institute of Bicol History and College Faculty was the trainer for the 2-day activity. The training covered conflicts, negotiation, mediation, caucus, and communication. The participants had the workshop on conflict resolution processes as a simulation activity.

Meanwhile, Atty. Imee M. Abardo-Estrada handled the “Itanong mo kay Attorney” portion wherein participants raised their questions and concerns in line with the technicalities and laws in conflict resolution.

This training aims to guide the participants in understanding conflict and their sources at the same time to sharpen their skills in solving it; It also intends to equip the participants with the basic skills for effective communication and mediation.
