521 teachers from 126 the private schools in Bikol participated in a three-day In-Service Training (INSET) last 29 April to 1 May 2015 at the Ateneo de Naga University.
The INSET for Grade 10 teachers in English, Math, Science, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan was sponsored by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC-FAPE) and managed by the College of Education under the leadership of Dr. Arnulfo Aaron R. Reganit, PEAC Regional Program Coordinator, with the support of Fr. Primitivo E. Viray, Jr, SJ as PEAC Regional Program Co-chair.
Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, was the honored guest during the opening ceremonies held on April 29, 2015 at the University Gymnasium. Ferrer discussed with the participants the PEAC programs and encouraged them to stay in the private schools.
DEpEd Regional Director, Mr. Ramon Fiel Abcede, assured the participants of the support of the Department in the full implementation of K to 12 Basic Education Program in the private schools.
Benilda Carmen S. Espeso, Dr. Jeanette O. Naval, Cornelia Lurcha served as secretariat of the INSET. Ma. Luz T. Badiola served as the master of ceremonies.
