Bachelor of Engineering Technology major in Computer Engineering Technology (BET-CpET) is a ladderized four-year program which has been designed to produce students such that after every year finished, a corresponding skill certification will be issued by the University. The curriculum has been developed to prepare the students to take international industry-recognized certifications, particularly the Computing Technology Industry Association A+ (CompTIA A+), CISCO Certified Entry-Level Network Technician (CCENT), CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and CCNA-Security for every year completed. This skills/certification will therefore make them eligible for employment.
A diploma for the Bachelor’s degree will be issued by the University upon completion of the four (4) year program. The graduates of the BET-CpET program can work as Computer Service Technicians, Software Developers, Computer Network Administrators, Network Security Specialists, and Systems Administrators, to name a few.
