To enhance the English Proficiency Skills of graduating students and ultimately help raise the learning outcomes for their would-be- learners, the College of Education through the Secondary Education Department conducted a one-day English Proficiency Seminar-Workshop last 15 February 2015 at the Richie Fernando Conference Hall.

Invited speakers of the seminar-workshop were Department of Educational national trainers and Assistant Superintendents of Bicol: Dr. Susan S. Callano of Division of Camarines Sur, Dr. Fatima Buen of Division of Sorsogon, Dr. Norma A. Samantela of Legaspi City Division, and Corazon Fatima A. Silerio, Training and Development Human Resource Management 3 of DepEd Region 5.

The highlight of the seminar was the simulation interview conducted in the different groups. The exercise was patterned from the Department of Department of Education’s way of hiring their future teachers.
