“Establishment of scholarships” was the resounding message of AdNU President, Fr. Primitivo E. Viray, Jr. SJ, during the Courtesy Call and Fellowship Dinner hosted by the ADNUGAA 2015 Board of Trustees last 5 February 2015 at The Boardroom, Avenue Plaza Hotel, Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City.

During said dinner, Fr. Jun shared his expectations of AdNUGAA’s leadership, the most important of which is: “. . . to help create that culture of giving back to the University, to Bicol, especially in the form of sustainable scholarships, without neglecting the Alumni’s varied social commitments and engagements.”

He also put emphasis on the conduct of area-specific, sector-specific activities that together the University and the Alumni Association could work on and implement for more visible and lasting results as well as replicating these activities to cover more areas.

He expressed confidence in the AdNUGAA noting that this Alumni Association is among the most active in all Ateneos in the country.
