Sixty families and thirty five elderly persons were the beneficiaries of this year’s seventh Reverse Caroling which was held on 21-22 December 2014.
The Center for Community Development facilitated the activity together with over a hundred volunteers and members of the university band. On the first day of the caroling, the indigent families of the coastal areas of Barangay Pagao in Bombon, Carigsa in Magarao and Punta Tarawal in Calabanga, Camarines Sur received the Noche Buena Packages after the traditional Christmas Serenades were performed by the band and volunteers.
The elderly persons of Barangays Ponong and Barobaybay, Magarao and San Nicolas in Canaman Camarines Sur were the beneficiaries on the second day of the Reverse Caroling.
The reverse caroling is an annual outreach activity of the CCD in partnership the students, faculty and staff and alumni of the university. The funding for the activity is thru the Lantern for a Cause project and donations from various volunteers.
