The University Social Involvement Council (USIC) in coordination with the Ateneo Social Science Research Center (ASSRC) conducted the Baseline Survey Summary to AdNU’s nine Partner Communities on 26, 28 – 30 October 26 2014. The Center for Community Development (CCD) led the coordination and scheduling on the presentation for each barangay.
The said series of presentations were participated by the different Development Councils of all the partner barangays in their respective areas. The activity presenters from the ASSRC were Dr. Michael A. Cuesta and Ms. Marlyn Lee-Tejada. They were assisted by their documenters, namely Ma. Karina F. Tutanes, April Joy P. Pequeña, and Julieta J. Guerra.
The presentation for each barangay’s baseline survey summary was discussed according to the eight areas of concern of USIC – Housing, Religious Education, Health and Nutrition, Education & Teacher Training, Livelihood & Entrepreneurship, Environment, Disaster Management, and Governance. A lively discussion via question and answer portions and open fora followed every after a main concern of each barangay. Responses were provided by the presenters, as well as USIC representatives who participated in the activity.
USIC members and other community members who assisted in the facilitation of the presentations were Mr. Elmer T. Sto. Domingo, Mr. Francisco Rico U. Raquitico, Mr. Larry R. Sucatre, Mr. Jerico S. Lejano, Mr. Aldrin P. Belmes, Mr. Jorge S. Borsong, and Ms. Julie Ann R. Prado.
After the presentation, a copy of the Baseline Survey Summary Hardcopy was given to every barangay.
