September 13, 2014 — a day right after the revered Traslacion, the ADNUGAA Board hosted the revival of the reunion of college alumni of the Ateneo de Naga University. Aptly dubbed See You in September: The College Reunion, the event aims to resurrect a tradition which began more than ten years ago.
This year’s revival started with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist which was presided over by Fr President Primitivo E. Viray, Jr., S.J., together with three concelebrants who were also alumni, namely: Fr. Romeo G. Donacao, Fr. Don Federico, and Fr. Mayo Cezar Herrera. The mass was followed by a program of activities held in the University Gymnasium. Through an election, the governing body for the College alumni was established with a core group of five elected from among those in attendance and who took their oath of office before the assembly.
A local group known as the Fork Barrel provided the entertainment for the night. There were singing and dancing and, in-between sets, prizes were raffled off. And despite the bad weather on that day, there were around 200 college alumni who came to participate in the special gathering.
