The Ateneo de Naga University Remontados Debate Society won the championship in the City Youth Debate Tournament sponsored by the Local Government of Naga City. Remontados likewise got most of the major awards. The proclaimed Champion was Team Kupunang Patatas composed of Denzel Macaraig and Juddene Bernardo. Macaraig was likewise acknowledged the Finals Best Speaker and the Tournament Best Speaker.

Team Yuri Boom Boom! (composed of Mariegrace Regine Vizcarra and Jose Miguel Valenzuela) was First Runner-up, Team Sexy of Trojan (Cloyd Monoy and Salve Regina Orcullo) was Second Runner-up, and Team Gorgeous (Mark Fidel Azur and Kyne Espiritu) was Semi-Finalist.

Valenzuela was declared the Second Best Speaker, Reycel Hyacinth Bendana of the ADNU High School was awarded the Third Best Speaker, while Azur and Vizcarra were both Fourth Best Speakers.

Remontados would like to thank the ever-supportive and ever-energetic Coach Percival Tordilla, a Political Science alumnus of the Ateneo de Naga University.
