The Ateneo de Naga University has added another milestone in history by opening its doors to the first batch of grades one to three pupils at the Fr. Raul J Bonoan, S.J. Campus, Pacol, Naga City this 4 June 2014.
In the opening ceremony, the little Ateneans and their parents were warmly welcomed by University President Fr. Primitivo Viray Jr., S.J., High School Principal Tita Natividad, Grade School Principal Josephine Abinuman, Dean of the College of Education Dr. Arnulfo Reganit, together with the members of the Board of Trustees, the Council of Administrators, and the faculty and staff.
The momentous occasion also included a ceremonial pinning of commemorative pins and a class pictorial. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing of the provisional grade school classrooms and the newly-built kindergarten facilities followed. Dr. Renato Gavino, DepEd Education Program Supervisor 1 for Private Schools, SPED and Pre-Schools, was the honored guest.
The event concluded with a candy shower and simple refreshments.
