List of Activities for the Restoration of the Naga River
Part I: Launching of the project on June 5, 2014 for Awareness
- Fun Run dubbed “Knight run”
- Foundation Mass at the ADNU Church
- Photo Exhibits at the Rizal Park about the Naga River – INECAR
- Environmental Concert for a cause – at the Plaza featuring Joey Ayala
- Environmental Play presentation – at the Plaza by the Ateneo de Naga Eagles for the Environment
There will be invitations to interested Nagueños comprising of academe, LGU (City and Barangays, Business Establishments, NGOs, others
Part II: Activities towards the education of riverside residents, those from business establishments and other Nagueños
- Environmental Education – INECAR with some faculty and staff
- Survey on existing toilets, and interviews to residents – Volunteers
- Monitoring of the water quality of the river water – Dept. of Natural Sciences and INECAR
- Request for additional Ordinances – from the LGU
- Implementation and Enforcement of ordinances – LGU support such as youth volunteers, Tanod, etc.
Resources needed: Funds/Materials /food/ use of Venue/use of vehicle such as Jeepney and boat /equipment/ Human, etc.
