The Ateneo de Naga University held its 64th Commencement Exercises last Saturday, 22 March 2014 at the University Covered Courts. This year, a total of 1,114 college students and 43 post-graduate students walked to the stage and received their diplomas.
A decision to adjust the program flow was also made — instead of holding the awarding ceremony during the commencement proper, it was held a day earlier, right after the Baccalaureate Mass on 21 March 2014 (except for the conferment of the honorary doctorate degree). Cecilio Press received the Bulawanan na Bikolnon Service to Bikol, while the Daughters of Mary, Mother of the Church Institute received the Bishop Jorge Barlin Service to the Church.

This 2014, the University conferred upon Drs. Christopher and Ma. Victoria Carpio-Bernido the honorary doctorate degree, Doctor of Pedagogy, honoris causa, in recognition of their contribution to basic education through the Dynamic Learning Program (DLP), and their enormous achievements in the field of science, particularly in Physics.
