Our
Goals
-
Promote
support and enthusiasm for responsible tourism in the Philippines,
especially in Bikol;
-
Promote
knowledge and implementation of worthy DoT programs in the region,
but especially in Albay, Sorsogon, and Camarines Sur. InTours shall,
whenever possible, participate in, monitor, evaluate, and catalyze
implementation of DoT programs;

Collect
and/or produce relevant material for the advancement of tourism in
the Philippines, especially modules relative to local environment,
histories and cultures;
-
Conduct
research towards the qualitative growth of tourism in the area;
-
Conduct
short-term seminars or programs for skills development of
professional tourist handlers in the region;

Actually
develop soft or eco- or cultural or sports tourism in Bikol,
initially in Albay, Sorsogon, and Camarines Sur, pushing for the
homestay concept through either local government units or through
schools;
-
Promote
a culture of human and Filipino hospitality towards tourists that
proscribes fleecing them;
-
Liaise
with national and local government and non-government organizations
that can contribute to the development of tourism, especially the
Commission on Higher Education, Department of Education, and the
Department of Interior and Local Government;

Act
as a channel of training and experience for AdNU Majors in Tourism
