completed within the current school year:
- Identification
of weeds associated with rice fields and coconut plantation
in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte.
- Secondary
Data gathering for some ecosystems/parks in Camarines Sur
and Camarines Norte such as the Mt. Isarog National Park,
Bicol National Park, Lake Bato, Lake Baao-Bula. These
data will be used in making modules for environmental education
of the local communities
- “Pollen
grain abortion as indicator of Mercury Pollution Near Gold
Mining Sites in Camarines Norte” – just recently and successfully
defended dissertation of Emelina G. Regis for the degree
of Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of the
Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City
