Pay the testing fee at the treasurer's office. Present the official receipt to the testing center.

Submit (2) two recent 1˝ x 1˝ pictures with name tag (blue background)

Examinee must fill up the application for college entrance examination form personally at the testing center.
- After filling up the form, examinee will be scheduled for testing.
- Examination will be issued.
- No applicant will be given the said examination twice.

For freshmen and transferees to the Computer Science Program, only those with a DIQ of 90 or above will be admitted.
For freshmen and transferees to the Information Technology and Information Systems Programs, those who passed the general University cut-off will be admitted.
For shiftees to the Computer Science Program, only those with a QPI of 2.5 or above will be admitted.
For shiftees to the Information Technology and Information Management Programs, only those with a QPI of 2.0 or above will be admitted.
The applicant first takes the Admission Placement examination.

Admission Requirements for New Students
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
-
holders of Bachelor's degree in any field from any recognized institution with an average rating of 85% or B or better;
- proficient in at least one programming language; and
-
with at least two years of IT-related work experience (waived if the applicant is a BS in Computer Science, BS in IT or BS in Information Management graduate).
Acceptability of an applicant will be determined on the following basis:
- A fully accomplished application form; [Download]
- An official transcript of records and one set photocopy;
- Certificates of training, if any;
- Work description and other documentation of IT-related projects;
- Two letters of recommendation from former professors and/or employers; [Download]

Satisfactory performance in the entrance exam and the CS/IT diagnostic test; and
- Interview results.
The following should also be submitted during the interview:
- Long-size white folder; and
- Three 1x1 colored picture with white background.
Applicants who will not satisfy the admission requirements may not be admitted or may be advised to take the 9-unit Bridging Program.
The Master of Computer Science or Information Technology is awarded if the student obtains a weighted general average of B or better in the coursework, satisfies the seminar requirement, passes a comprehensive examination, and successfully implements a/an CS/IT-based application project.
Admission Procedure for MCS and MIT

Submit Admission requirements to the Program Coordinator at Room P219, Computer Science Department, Phelan Building. Look for Mr. Joshua C. Martinez. (Please refer to the Application for Admission Form for the list of requirements.)
- Secure and accomplish the Entrance Exam Form.
- Pay the Testing Fee at the Treasurer’s Office.

Submit the accomplished Entrance Exam Form and the Official Receipt to the Testing Center.
- Take the Entrance Test on your desired schedule.
- Testing schedule is every Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2 o’clock pm.

An extra diagnostic tool shall be given to all MCS and MIT applicants.

After a week, call the Office of the Program Coordinator and ask for the schedule of your interview. (054-472-2368 local 2422)

Two (2) or Three (3) days after the interview, secure the result of the admission evaluation at the Office of the Program Coordinator. An electronic copy of the result shall likewise be sent to the email address specified by the applicant in the application form.
- If admitted, be back on the scheduled dates of enrollment.
Deadline of Submission of Application for Second Semester, SY 2007-2008 is on October 31, 2007.
